Jet-Setting This Summer? Check Out These Travel Tips
Vacationing in summer is one of the best ways to spend the summer. Whether you're hopping across the country or heading abroad, traveling will be a large part of your plans. To
keep your journey stress-free, check out these tips.
Organize. Write out all of your travel plans along with booking numbers, confirmation codes, and flight numbers and times. This will help you to organize where you need to be and when. Print off this itinerary and send it to yourself and loved ones for reference, too.
Leave early. If you're catching public transport or a flight, aim to leave 10-15 minutes earlier than you had planned. These minutes are precious, especially if there is traffic on the way to the airport or delays on the roads.
Take snacks. It may seem easier to just pick up fast food at the airport or gas station but you're not doing yourself any favors. This food will often be loaded with saturated fat, cholesterol, and minimal nutrition. Instead, pack snacks like nuts, seeds, and dried fruit to give you energy while supplying essential nutrients. Also, take plenty of water.
Know the destination. If you're heading to a foreign location, research the city before you get there. This way, you'll know how to avoid offending the locals and stay safe.
Leave home protected. If you're leaving your home and belongings, ensure they are adequately protected. This way, you can rest easy knowing you have the right protection in place. We hope that you enjoy your summer vacation! For all of your insurance needs in Renton and beyond,
