For cardiovascular exercise, the AHA recommends 150 minutes of intermediate-intensity exercise per week (e.g. biking) or 75 minutes of strenuous-intensity exercise per week (e.g. running). And it's recommended that kids get about 60 minutes per day of physical activity.Muscular-strength training is also important.
