Family Friendly Summer Events

Summer is the best time to spend with your loved ones while enjoying the beautiful weather. While the kids are out of school, it is important to find family friendly events that everyone can enjoy together. The local Renton community is offering fun events for the whole family to enjoy.Make sure to invite all of your family and friends to enjoy movies in park, at different exciting locations throughout the summer. Make sure to pack your blanket and low back chair, as well as snacks or a whole meal to enjoy the movies with your family. The movies in the park started on July 16^th, but is continuing through August 15^th. The lineup of movies for the rest of the summer includes:

• July 25^th ' The Avengers at Piazza Park.
• August 8^th ' Back to the Future at Liberty Park.
• August 15^th ' Frozen at the Henry Moses Aquatic Center.

If you and your family are looking to enjoy something more musical this summer, make sure to check out the Kidd Valley Family Concert Series at the Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park, Wednesdays at 7 p.m. The concerts are free to the public, so make sure to bring the whole family. The concert series started on July 9^th, and will continue through August 13^th. The lineup for the rest of the series includes:

• July 30^th ' Off the Hook, a mix of old school funk, classic soul, and R&B.
• August 6^th ' Convergence Zone Bluegrass, a mix of different styles including country, bluegrass, folk, and even a little pop.
• August 13^th ' Crème Tangerine, a Beatles tribute band.
